Cream cotton threads are laced in and out of the material to form and gather the shape inwards to create it's shape. The piece is supported by silver wire which creates the circular base edging, and runs up the front of the piece. The wire legs are curved to create an elegant stand. The piece is lined with a silky cream fabric, which overlaps the main outer body of the vessel. |

Cube is a tactile piece. The padding creates soft lines with shadows being formed by the inserted beads. The piece has frequent references to it's construction through the use of exterior stitching. |

Cube is fully padded on all five sides. Small white beads are used to create symmetrical indentations in the fabric. The interior is lined with a silk textured fabric to give a luxurious finish. 0.8 mm wire is used to give structure, the legs and to create the two rings at the top. |

The Conical shaped cotton vessel is tapered towards the neck to give a dress like feel. The shape is achieved through a fine line of stitching in a grid pattern together with the threads to create an ordered gathering of the material. |

The piece is the tallest and narrowest in the collection. It's slender proportions give a feeling of delicacy. The button details and rouching suggest both a formal gown and supporting feminine undergarments. |

Functional and decorative hand made buttons make
a closure towards the top of the vessel.
A wire tie links the rouched area at the base. The circular wire rim is partially wrapped with threads and wire. Multiple wires give interest at the top Unlined to give full translucent effects when lit. |

Narrow cylindrical tube, sewn with channels and
strengthened with six internal wire lengths, which also form the legs.
A circular rim is joined to the top of the piece by both a continuation of the vertical threads passing through the body of the piece and the six structural wires. Rouched area at the base of the tube. |
